LOUISVILLE, Ky.
— The Kentucky University men’s basketball team has made its commitment to the top-ranked men’s and women’s basketball programs in the nation.
The Wildcats have committed to play in the 2017-18 national championship game, and have the No. 5 seed in the Big 12.
They also have committed for the 2018 NCAA Tournament and are scheduled to host two games this year at Kentucky.
The program has not yet released the full schedule, but the Wildcats announced that they are adding one game in addition to three in 2019-20.
The Wildcats are scheduled for three games against South Carolina, Kentucky, and Oklahoma.
The 2017-19 season was a big one for the program, as the Wildcats posted a record of 23-1 and were named the NCAA Tournament’s national champions.
They will play Kentucky in the national semifinals, with a first-round matchup at the Final Four on April 25.
Kentucky will be looking to make the final in 2020-21, and is expected to have a roster of 20-plus players.
