The mysterious man suspected of recruiting American military recruits for the US Air Force is believed to be dead.
The suspect, identified only as James B. from Texas, was found dead in his apartment by a resident on Tuesday, police said in a statement.
Authorities say he was found in the same apartment complex where a suspect who had been arrested in December 2016 was arrested on charges of child pornography.
He was suspected of having had sex with a recruit.
Investigators say B’s death was a homicide.
The victim’s family has asked for privacy during the investigation.

A source told ABC News he was “suspicious” of a person who had come to visit him.
The man told investigators he believed he was visiting his aunt in Texas, and the woman who visited him was an Air Force recruiter, according to a police report.
Police were searching for the man on Tuesday and are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
A person of interest has been identified in the case, and is being questioned by police.
