Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze’s staff will be in recruiting hot water for the foreseeable future with an announcement on Friday.
The Ole Miss Football Recruiting Committee will be making the announcement on the SEC Network that they have reached an agreement with recruiters to start recruiting on campus starting next semester.
A source told ESPN the agreement is worth a reported $3.3 million.
The announcement comes less than two weeks after Ole Miss signed a two-year, $7 million deal with former defensive coordinator Brent Venables to coach its defensive backs.
The school will not make a decision on Venables until March 11.
The move is another step toward becoming a national powerhouse in the sport.
The SEC Network is in the process of signing a new contract with ESPN to provide exclusive coverage of all SEC programs, including the SEC, Pac-12, Big 12, Big Ten, ACC, Big West, Big South and the Big 12 Network.
The contract with the SEC network is expected to be finalized next month.
